To Goanet -

First of all, this dirty practice of treating the Goa government treasury as
your private kitty has been going on for a while, even before Digu took office.
Every administration has its favoured boy & girls to whom these handouts are
dealt. You want to organize a concert? Here, take 3 lakhs. You want to start
an NGO - here, 10 lakhs. Why, even the Bengali Association of Goa was deemed
worthy of a largesse of a few lakhs by Digu.

On the other side, you have to ask why "freedom fighters" and other good
samaritans don't have the slightest bit of self-respect that they expect and
take such large sums from the govt. If you want to be a do-gooder, then USE
YOUR OWN EFFING MONEY and if you don't have it, raise it from private sources.
Why do you want the public to fund your private fancies?

And "Amity towards Roads"? Which freakin' twit came up with that? What next,
"Compassion towards Cars"? If you must have the MARG acronym, I have a better
one: Movement against Assholes on Roads in Goa.
