Hi Selma,
Please do interview him - he has some great stories on 'muzga iscol' and the
'mestris' of yesteryear, which he used to tell me when walking to music
practice to Haringey Symphony Orchestra or to his own choir at St. Paul's
Woodgreen. I was quite fortunate to have lodgings just a couple of streets away
from his residence, way back in 1980. I do have a couple of articles which he
sent me ages ago, in the form of letters to me about his experiences with the
Goa Symphony orchestra. I could share them with you if you're interested.

Oboe was sitting right next to me, as he and his wife are close friends of
Eddie Fernandes. He is in excellent condition. He regaled me endless with his
wonderful stories of East Africa and the orchestra. One of these days I must
interview him and record his stories for posterity.
