Hello everyone, Goa Sudharop volunteers are back again for the third time running/walking at the San Jose, California, Rock & Roll Half Marathon on October 4, 2009. A new team is ready for this commitment. Thanks to our past volunteers that ran and walked and inspired this new team in this challenge.
Goa Sudharop is a USA volunteer organization which has helped charities, orphanages, battered women groups, environmental groups, and educational institutions in Goa. See www.goasudharop.org. The first year the volunteers raised US $5,146 which went towards projects for the 2007 "Year of the Environment" projects. Second year the volunteers raised $1,611 for the 2008 "Year of Education" projects, and for our third year we will attempt to raise any amount possible to support the 2009 "Year of the Youthâ projects.
