Poltod ---- tod is river bank. Poltodicho monis means The man on the other side of the river bank. Like if you are in Panjim standing at the side of the Mandovi river, it would mean a man standing on the shores of the river in Betim. There is no mention of bridge in this at all. regards, Samir
