Guys Girls ladies and Gentlemen
On the birthday of an incredible man who walked our land, let me echo J Nehru;s
words to a radio station announcing the Mahatma's death: 'A madman has put an
end to his life....'
Well, from the time the madman took three shots at peace up to now nothing has
changed for India. Only, one a in 'madman' has changed to e. And the madmen
have killed 100s of innocent Indians in Gujarat, Orissa and elsewhere. But is
any one counting? The only counting that matters in Gandhi's (PBUH)
India today is votes. Everyone and everything else can conveniently go to hell
with the devil.
In the meanwhile all we can do is make a fresh committment to peace and
goodness and say a small prayer for our dear life and dear ones.
