Sesa says 'It is not feasible to remove mining dumps at Advalpal'

Reference to the tug-of-war going on between the environmentalists and Sesa Goa,
over the illegal dumping of mining waste at Advalpal, it's absurd to note that
even though the High Court has passed an order asking Sea Goa to relocate it's
illegally dumped waste, Sea Goa claims that it is not feasible to move it.

Sesa Goa first dumps mining rejects illegally and now has the audacity to claim
it's not feasible to move it ? I cannot believe how the courts allow this to
happen. Sesa Goa should be taken to task and heavily panelised for the
destruction caused to the "nullah", it's embankment and the houses around the
area. The villagers had initially logged a complaint with the Indian Bureau of
Mines about the illegality but no action was taken, IBM should also be held
responsible for their inaction and there after for the destruction caused. If
IBM had to act in time this issue would not have existed anymore. How can the
court entertain such negligence from the mining agency ?

As a lesson for the rest of the illegal mining offenders, the court should set
records straight and hold Sesa Goa responsible for the damage already caused, as
well as for the damage caused while relocating the illegally dumped waste, as
this waste should not have been there in the first place. If it is not relocated
now and comes down crumbling down during the rainy season and causes havoc,
who'll be responsible ? The people of Advalpal and their properties have to be
protected.
