Two Goans die in Oman mishap

In an unfortunate incident, two Goans lost their lives when the vehicles
in which they were travelling along with their families met with an
accident near Oman-UAE border on Sunday.
According to reports available here, the families of Narendra Naik and
Santosh Shirodkar went to Oman from Dubai in order to spend their recent
Eid holidays.
While returning to Dubai on Sunday morning, their vehicle met with an
accident near Oman-UAE border, which resulted into the death of Narendra
Naik and Santosh Shirodkar. It is reported that their family members
escaped with minor injuries.
Both the deceased are from Comba, Margao and were working for Al Ghaith
Shipping Group, Dubai.
As per information from the company, all formalities would be sorted out
after the ongoing holidays in order to send the bodies to Goa for the
final rites.
