Joy to the World… As part of its Christmas celebrations, JCI Santa Inez organized a visit to the ‘Provedoria Public Assistance Old Age Home’ at Chimbel. One of our Founder members sponsored the event to mark the birthday celebrations of his mother, with other members co-contributing.
Members of JCI Santa Inez indulged in a series of activities to entertain the inmates, around 90 in number. Pravin Sabnis conducted games. Brendan Fernandes sang a few Konkani songs and some Christmas carols. Anand Mazalkar shared a few light moments. The inmates sang, danced and thoroughly enjoyed in the revelries. Refreshments, prizes and gifts were later distributed. Club President Gautam Shankardas, President Elect 2010 Rupesh Golatkar, program co-ordinator Ramesh Naik and Founder President Sandeep Heble were also present, amongst other members.
