As much as I have agreed with Soter's guiding sense, Augusto has written an Epic that must reverberate in the history of Goa's civil disorders.

I think that more people, Goans, specially those who are root connected with Christianity (not Cathoholicity) should come out and condemn the COLVABAN. For God's own sake, we live in a DEMOCRACY. This means that Culvert Gonsalves and Co. has the same right to express their views (in whatever ways) as the target has the right to contest the same in a civil manner.

If what is happening with COLVABAN is not cauterized in the bud, then our Goan life-line which is the TIATR is terribly terribly threatened.

Do we want this to happen?? Is the fuse becoming shorter by the day? Has the Hoo Haa against 'Da Vinci Code' encouraged the COLVABAN?

PS: GOANS please do not let our 'Tiatr' die, AND, concerned leaders please do not remain complacent only by giving well placed politicos some cozy lectures. PPS: Goa's Need of the Hour...(becoming more relevant?)..........What's Zat???

Subject: [Goanet] Talibanisation of Colva

I agree with the views of Soter D'Souza regarding the stupidity which is
going on in Colva............

By remaining silent he still chose to make a
statement: he conveyed to the public that he is not in control of wild
fanatical Christian rowdies; or at any rate does not want to control them.
That was a very sad statement to make.

If the Colvaban can do it then why can't
the Taliban or the Ram Sena or the Sanatan or ...
