Goa Sudharop's PANJIM YOUTH WORKSHOP "TAKE FLIGHT"
66 students attended the workshop TAKE FLIGHT organized by Goa Sudharop at
Caritas, Panaji on 10 January 2010. The break up is as follows: 20 - Dhempo
HSSC, Miramar, 12 - Fr Agnel's College, Pilar, 15 - DM College, Assagao, 8 -
Govt College, Khandola, 3 - Xavier College, Mapusa, 2 - VMS Law College,
Miramar, 1 - PCCE, Verna, 5 - other youth.
Sandhya Palekar managed the registration desk in the morning.
President of JCI Santa Inez, Rupesh Naik and Sanket Pai helped with the
arrangements.
Fr. Maverick Fernandes and Dr. Joe D'Souza were the chief guests for the
inaugural and valedictory sections.
Mr. Ibonio D'souza, Goa Sudharop representative, welcomed the gathering at the
inaugural and proposed the vote of thanks at the valedictory.
Resource persons included Pravin Sabnis, Soter D'Souza, Dr. Bernadette Gomes,
Dr. Anil Rane, Miguel Braganza.
Young Ms. Shilla Almeida, on a private visit to Goa to learn more about Goa
Sudharop activities in Goa, was an active participant at the workshop.
Ms. Valerie Rodrigues, Adv. Satish Sonak and Harshada Kerkar also visited the
proceedings.
