Many Goan politicians constantly invoke their supreme allegiance to the High Commands, for whatever is decided in Delhi; whether it is in Goa's Interest or not; that’s why we have instances like the follows:
(1) Developers like Rahejas/DLF other Non-Goan Industrialists/Hoteliers who are rampaging thru Goa at will; as they have top connections in Delhi; who in turn control Goan MLA's. (2) Our Spineless Goan MLA's who raised the possibility of special status are now quiet, under intimidation from their High Command in Delhi (3) The SEZ issue which was only halted by the people; but it appears our Government still has ulterior motives with the land still not being reverted to its owners. (4) MOPA airport which is obviously to benefit the Center and other States; and of course feed the greed of many Goan Politicians!! (5) Large scale land purchases by Non-Goan Land Sharks; with the enthusiastic support of many Goan MLA's These Goan Politicians have and are in the constant process of Selling Goa; in turn for huge political favours from the Centre so as to continue with their ruthless accumulation of illegitimate wealth!!
