Dear all

I have been following this arguments as i call them with interest and
frustration.

Arguents are basically ego trips and no one is a winner.

This what I feel:

NRGS and RGS.
RGs and NRGs can be compared to a tree. The tree is complete if it
has a well rooted sturdy stem, plenty of branches with ever green
leaves and yield fruit. For the stem to grow fat and firm, strong
roots as well as plenty branches with green leaves are necessary (to
generate energy). Similarly to achieve the goal, the RGs and NRGs
should be complementary to each other and should have a positive
resolve to do something to the overall development.
Either one can not do without the other. I believe Goa economy is
supported by NRGs (mainly those who have families back home) by direct
financial remittances that is utilized for the upkeep of their
families. Other well to do NRGs who have settled with families, may
contribute to the economic development with local partnership, but
business is risky anywhere. Floating a cooperative banking might be a
good idea, that can attract NRG remittances that can be utilized to
start small ventures etc.

If only arguments is the norm, it will be like a proverb, ‘by the time
the Lord became ready for the battle with the enemy, the town was
completely looted’

MD.
