The GCCI Cup, a Talent Search Table Tennis Tournament organised by Panjim Table Tennis Club in association with the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Sports Authority of Goa, got underway at the Indoor Stadium, Campal. The Tournament was inaugurated by the Executive Director (SAG) Shri V.M. Prabhudesai in the presence of Air Commodore P.K. Pinto of the GCCI, Former State Champions Noel Noronha and Ajit Ghantker, Panjim Table Tennis Club President Chetan Kavlekar, Secretary Sandeep Heble, and other Club office bearers Ramesh Naik, Uday Divekar , Sarfraz Sheikh, Krushnan Naik, Hilary Fernandes and Deepak Mayenkar.
On the occasion, a Table Tennis Robot was also inaugurated. The Table Table Tennis Club has been procured by the Panjim Table Tennis Club for providing advanced training and shall be made available at the Table Tennis Stadium, Sports Authority of Goa, Campal-Panaji free of cost.
