Variability during Periods of Past Climatic Changes’. He covered the
aspect of monsoons over the Indian subcontinent due to global warming as
well of past climatic changes over asia.
Dr Runa Antony from NCAOR elaborated on the topic ‘ Biogenic bromine in
coastal Antarctic snow and its link to cloud seeding’. She dealt with
the aspects of cloud seeding and how bromine generated due to biogenic
materials helps in cloud seeding and ultimately precipitation. She also
explained that, sulphur is one of the major atmospheric contributors
forcing the climate system.

spoke on the topic ‘Goa and Impact of Climate Change’. He dealt with
most of the problems regarding climate change and associated problems
that might possibly harm the goan region.

Climate Change’ and how global warming affects the onset and nature of
monsoons.
