The actress also said that more needed to be done to protect female travellers in the region. "I'm really concerned about what's happening in Goa. When I took up this role I saw it as a vehicle to create a certain awareness about the reality of the crime rate on the beaches of Goa," Basu told Mid Day. "It's so easy to let an underbelly thrive in Goa. Everyone here can do what he or she like. Goa's image has suffered a beating. And female tourists are the main victims. Female travellers coming to Goa are world gypsies. In Goa, they end up trusting the wrong people. We must protect them. I wish Goa wouldn't be saddled with a negative image. Bad elements exist everywhere." http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/bollywood/news/a212679/basu-highlights-goa-i ssues-in-movie.html ~(^^)~ Avelino
