REGARDING THE CATHOLIC CHURCH SCANDALS:
Even though I have a very high regard for Frederick Noronha, as a good and
Capable giornalist ,I did not like his Article, "THE DEMONS WITHIN", from
the recent Tehelka Magazine.
You, if you are a Catholic, should never criticise
your Catholic Church.
The Church is our Mother.
Even if others do criticise the church, we, as Sons and Daughters of the
Mother Church, should never, publicly, speak against, or
point out its problems and Defects. What are we gaining?
Let others say what they may... but we must always,
defend Our Church... most of all, Publicly.
Dirty Linen should be washed in one's own
House.
Frederick could have even voiced his opinions, to the Pope or to a Bishop, in a
Private letter, etc.
Many People are attacking the Catholic Church.. But
there is so much Scandal and Sexual deviances, all over..in the Governments,
in
Non Catholic Institutions..in our very Homes....What is the percentage of
Catholic Priests, involved in any scandal, compared to the high percentages of
other Politicians or GrandFathers or Teachers or Fathers..or our very own Youth
????
Why are we poking at our Mother
Church?
At a time like this, we have to show more Respect, more Understanding, and more
Loyalty, and see the immense Good that our Catholic Church has done, as is
still doing in their Schools, Universities, Hospitals and other Services...
God Bless His Priests and Nuns, His Catholic Church and Us.
Rose Moraes
Rome.
