World Cup football/soccer is almost here .... you can get involved with the excitement and help a good cause at the same time.
I am personally organizing a fund-raising contest to benefit Goa Sudharop and Goan Chitra museum. After prizes, potentially USD $980 (approximately 44,000 rupees) will be raised. Goa Sudharop will donate the money to benefit the incredible Goan Chitra museum which showcases Goan culture, see http://www.goachitra.com/museum.html. Here is how the contest works and is open to anyone. 64 tickets will be sold. Only USD $20 per entry; there are 32 teams participating in the World Cup, let us try and get 64 entries i.e. two entries per team. Winners of the World Cup (two tickets) get USD $100 each and runner-up of the World Cup (two tickets) get USD $50 each. After confirmation that all 64 tickets have been sold, I will sit down and do a draw from a hat and assign a World Cup team to each ticket. Please note you cannot pick a particular team, a team will be assigned to each ticket by random drawing.
