ALERT:
THE VILLAGE GROUPS OF GOA DEMAND WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT
1. The Town and Country Planning Act 1974 be repealed and a new one be
formulated in compliance with the 73rd. and 74th. Constitutional Amendment
and then finalize the Regional Plan 2021.
2. Immediate freezing of NOCs/permissions for development/construction in
Eco-Sensitive Zones, in "NO Development Zones", in CRZ Zones, in cultivable
and non-cultivable agricultural land.
3. Revert, all land fraudulently allotted for SEZs in Goa, back to the
Communidades.
4. No construction permissions to be issued for projects proposed with FAR
more than 50 or VP3 Status, in Panchayat as well as ODP areas, till the
RP-2021 is notified and made operational, except for individual dwellings.
5. To include all the urban and suburban areas now under the ODP in the
RP-2021 and freeze all ODPs, whether notified or otherwise, till their
inclusion in the RP-2021.
6. Stop all illegal mining. No fresh licenses to be issued. The existing
mines should be entitled to only mine a certain fixed tonnage a year to
maintain the eco balance and the topography of the region. A sustainable
plan and process should be fixed to match international standards. Members
from various village groups should be the body to monitor.
7. The contact details of the Flying Squads to attend to all illegalities to
be made available to the public immediately.
8. The Government should come clear, in writing on the action taken to stop
those violations pointed out by various Village Groups and fix
accountability and punitive action on official responsible for the same.
9. Mopa Airport, Sports City, Golf Course in Tiracol & Talpona, Cricket
Stadium in Tivim to be scrapped due to extensive destruction of trees and
acquiring land of the locals at lower rates than market value.
10. Residence Certificates, Ration Cards and EPIC cards should be issue
following proper procedures; those that are issued irregularly should be
cancelled retrospectively.
11. Implement the policy of 80% of jobs for Goans in all new
industries/corporate/firms etc wishing to enter the state. The Government
has to set up training institutes based on the trades of the companies
wishing to set up in the state.
12. In the event of any land being acquired for public purpose i.e. for
roads and bridges, the owner of the land should be compensated at the market
price. Any land acquired for entrepreneurship by the Government, the
original land owner should have a stake in the enterprise.

of Goa? We all should unite together as ONE FORCE, ONE VOICE and try to pt
an end to the rampant corruption in all Government Offices, Abuse & Misuse
of Power by elected Politicians, Village Elected Members, Councilors and
Government Officials for their selfish gains.
The land grabbing in the name of development by politicians with vested
interests and in connivance with outsiders has to stop. Unwanted polluting
industries, migrants infiltrating and being supported by elected
representatives for vote banks all over Goa has to stop. It is the need of
the hour to stop all mining activity before turn brown from what we know as
'Green Goa' today. Law & Order has to be brought back on track with Police
Reforms.
Individual Voice & Opinion gets lost, but Unity can create social awakening
so join us on 17 May 2010 at the open parking space opposite Blue Berry
Hill, open air hall on the Verna Airport Road at 9.30 a.m. on Monday.
Kindly inform your relatives, friends, neighbors to join hands in large
numbers to send a final message to the Goa Government that GOANS are fedup
and we need to see action henceforth.
For the first time in the history of Goa all NGOs have united, all Village
groups across Goa have united. Now it is your turn to Unite and Support this
just cause with your presence.
WE ALL WANT TO SEE A CLEAN, GREEN & CORRUPT FREE GOA.

representatives.
GOA urgently needs 'GOOD, HONEST, DISCIPLINED SYSTEM of GOVERNANCE'.
Wherein, even a dishonest person is forced to be good, honest n disciplined,
or to QUIT.
Only through PPS can such 'good, honest n disciplined system of governance'
be identified and accepted.
