As some of the Activists in Goa were busy arranging the meeting at
Blueberry,
the electronic media was busy spreading the news about the meeting, hopes
were
high, it did not matter, who initiated the meeting, it did not matter who
the
speakers were, nor did their stature matter, the only thing that mattered
was
the unity of Goans in the face of adversity. It was indeed a good call but
what
turned out was much to be desired. out of over a million Goans, not even a
few
hundreds thought it was wise to attend the meeting, just a mere hundred odd
people !! Is this the way to save Goa ? Mother Goa calls on each one of us
"Hey,
you Goan people, why have you forsaken me" ?
