Could Mr. Frederick Noronha, our well known journalist in Goa, kindly
give us an account of Goa after 19 December 1961 to date without being
sarcastic in any way or form! How did Goa and her sons and daughters
benefit after the so called "liberation"?

Melbourne.

1. At least "lagnak poltodi vatche podona".
2. Purchasing Power Parity is very good. (a laborer for a days wage could buy
almost double the Rice and other basic food products just after liberation in
comparison to 1960.)
3. All the people from border talukas can freely express their views and Govt.
took cognizance of their view.
4. Bhumiputra could write to and speak with Government in their Mother Tongue.
5. FIR in devnagari

There are endless benefits for conman man from oppressive Portuguese Rule.
