[Goanet] Cansaulim GBA meet ? Report Cansaulim GBA meeting But where are the Cansaulekar? I am sure, the population of? Cansaulim (Panchayat)? is at least 10,000 but where are they all? If one closely look at this pic, one can easily count up to 60 people occupying all the chairs. Other who were standing behind and corridors would be not more than 35, which means the total was less than 100 Comments : Camilo Fernandes It is really sad and shocking to see this low turnout of Cansaulim villagers to this serious problem affecting their village. It is this callous attitude of Goans that is leading to the downfall of Goa. We expect others to solve our problems while we sit comfortably in our homes. We may feel we have no time and is not our problems, then we should take inspiration from others who sacrificed to come from far away places to attend the meeting and lend support. If we cant take active part as leaders, the least we can do is give our full support to the people leading these protests. After all no point in mourning later on when all is lost. I hope better sense prevails and people realize that it is never too late to come forward and to protest and compel the local MLA/minister to bow to their wishes. * * * How were the 1950s, East African Goans and British Overseas Citizenship linked?
