Law of averages prevails most of the time. Last 8 years had been super boom for miners and trucers piggy backed. Now looks like Law of averages taking over. Miners will not be affected. Their profit may reduce from Rs 5000/ton to Rs 4000/ton and exports may fall from 46 mt last year to 40mt. But still they will have windfall gains. Truckers, who have invested their own money may have difficult time. Already trucks from Karnataka (after ban there) have started coming to India. Thi will be additional fleet that will eat the pie.
