Curious to know about this building history If it was build during pre-liberation era, just wondering what was here before Army took it over?
One can see from outside from the road that there are two beautiful sideway (semi-circular) stair cases to reach the fist floor at the entrance hall. Sadly, there are always armed military guards outside the entrance day and night walking up and down (left & right front of the building) i took this pic while they look other way (just in case) Two more pic provided see link within http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauk28/4951780175/ also, it has links to news paper reports about the Army decision/request to close two side roads for safety reason but CCP told them to shift their installations elsewhere or to Bambolim instead. joego...@yahoo.co.uk for Goa & NRI related info... http://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/GOAN-NRI/ For Goan Video Clips http://youtube.com/joeukgoa In Goa, Dial 1 0 8 For Hospital, Police, Fire etc * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Now available in Toronto, a few copies of *Into The Diaspora Wilderness* by Selma Carvalho.
