Just a suggestion ....what do you say, that we should write Romi Concani with a "c".
Thanks Domnic; one wondered why the Radio Portugal's printed programming had Concani written with a "c" in their schedule. Does any one remember listening to Radio Portugal (not sure what they were called exactly) but they did have a half-hour 'Concani' broadcast till the 70s at 8-30 pm (Goa time) on a Thursday, I think. Akashwani broadcast Concani was stylised...(don't know how to explain) but how Benao used to do his commentary... The listening to Radio Portugal was more for the joy of hearing Concani over the short wave, the way we spoke it (rather than the stylized Akashwani)....... The voice was of a man, speaking Xaxtti style Concani! mnic Fernandes <domval...@hotmail.com> wrote: > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > **** http://www.GOANET.org **** > --------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Goanet joins Noel Rebello to raise money for Daddy's Home (Margao, Goa) > Sponsor Noel as he climbs Mt.
