*BIS Mumbai* BOSCO INFORMATION SERVICE #2094 LITERARY AWARD FOR KRISTAPURANA TRANSLATION Robert Pen sdb *NASHIK, OCTOBER 16, 2010:* On Sunday October 10, 2010, at the Forty third Nashik Jilha Sahityik Mela (Nashik District Literary Meet) organized by Sarvajanik Vachanalaya (General Library), Fr. Nelson Falcao, sdb, received yet another Sahityik Puraskar (literature award) for his monumental work on the modern and contemporary translation and critical edition of the Kristapurana. About Five hundred eminent thinkers, authors, writers and poets were present at the one full-day Literary Meet. The Chief Guest Mr. Uttamrao Kamble, the Editor of Sakal daily newspaper praised highly the scholarly work of Fr. Nelson and gave the award to him. At the Library Hall where all the new books were exposed for information and publicity, the volume of the Kristapurana was placed at the centre.
