This is with reference to the recent assault/clash between Senior Goan Politicians where all Goans must hand their head in shame. It is not so much the Politicians who are to be blamed but the highly irresponsible and generally corrupt Goan Electorate, who by their greed for cash, illegal favors etc, have made Goa into the unfortunate state that it is today. Goa (courtesy its own people) can easily be put into the bracket of India's most lawless states today, where even the Police can do nothing, lest they face the wrath of Goa's Powerful Politicians. Why are Goan MLA's involved in Municipal elections in if first place, other than to ensure that their selfish personal objectives are met? Unless the so called highly literate Goan Electorate changes their attitude towards corruption, participation in the voting process and not voting for known Anti-Goans, nothing in Goa will change...and Goans will reap what they sow; sooner or later they themselves will fall victim to the negative/corrupt mentality that they currently pursue!!
