________________________________ From: Gabriel de Figueiredo <gdefigueir...@yah The original Clube Vasco da Gama was a grand place - high ceilings (required to keep the place cool), tall windows, large mirrors, billiard tables, et al. Shame "progress" destroyed what was once a beautiful piece of Indo-Portuguese architecture. Bar-Restaurant Capucinna was another quaint place, as was the old Cafe Central (where today's Mr. Baker is situated). ----- Original Message ---- > From: JoeGoaUk <joego...@yahoo > > Club Vasco da Gama, > Estd. 101 years ago > http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauk30/5111105137/sizes/l/ > (I wonder if there are any FFs members in it) >
