The home where Souza lived is like any other village home. I think a State like Goa is very adept at not honouring its own. Whether it is FN Souza or Frank Moraes (Eugene has rightly pointed out that he deserves a journalism college in his name) and even Alfred Rose was long denied a State award on the excuse that he was "not Goa based".
