Good to highlight issues as Godfrey did. Rather than just do that, concrete solutions are the need of the hour. Workable solutions instead of plain criticism are what Goa needs today.
With such a huge number of people converging at Old Goa with no proper supporting infrastructure, things are bound to go awry. Let us not wait for another twelve months. Target the responsible authorities directly: not via the press or Goanet, and work towards achieving the desired change by supporting them, not attacking them. They need help!
