Dear Rajan,
It is a pity that people who we trusted to Bachao Goa are so selfish and
untrustworthy that they continue to sell Goa and what remains of it down the
river for 12 pieces of silver. When will we realize that our very existence is
at stake and that we must as a mater of urgency make a drastic U turn and
retrace the history of our beloved Goa so as to reflect the true aspirations of
our people and preserve what is left of our unique heritage. Surely there must
be a point when even us susigade Goans will feel the walls caving in on us and
realize that we must put up a fight to save ourselves or perish. We must
therefore organize and if necessary start a new movement from scratch in order
to mobilize and motivate our people to fight for our rights and at least take
steps to stem the tide which is rapidly going to wash us off the map. What we
need therefore is a tsunami to turn the tide in our favour. The first steps of
this movement must be commenced immediately as there is very little time left
before the 2012 elections. What is the prospect of this happening? How strong
is the Goa Suraj party and is it going to be a force to be reckoned with in the
next election? Are they a party worth backing or are they just another puff of
wind which will lead us nowhere. If they are not a force, then what alternative
do we have in order that we may at least try and reverse the damage that has so
far been done?

I must applaud you and Soter for the efforts you are making to achieve change
in Goa and wish there are others like you who will band together and rescue our
beloved motherland, Goa, from the clutches of the thieves and scoundrels who
have stolen her and are currently at the helm.

Regards.......Manuel ( Eddie) Tavares.
