There is no need for Science to take into account what any religion
says because Science has nothing to do with the supernatural and the
superstitious. Whether any religion wants to pay heed to Science, is
up to its leaders and followers. Most exponents of Science couldn't
care less. So a Science-Religion dialogue may be of value only for
religiously minded people to become scientifically literate, and for
scientifically literate people to know a little bit about what the
reigning faith-based beliefs and dogmas are. Other than that it is a
waste of time. Nothing in Science or Religion will change as a
consequence of such a dialogue. Each will go about its own business.

Cheers,

Santosh
