Dears,
A long time ago, my letter to the director of accounts, governemt of Goa
produced much results. But the Raj Bhavan did not want to move.
I went into appeal with the Secretary, Raj Bhavan (Nikhil Kumar) when I was
told that this matter was sub-judice and that I would be informed as and
when the order was passed by the High Court.
To date, such information has not been forth coming.
What I had asked under RTI was the total expense sheet of the Raj Bhavan
including the entertainment bill as also of the other Governmental
departments.
Power to Aires Rodrigues.
BTW: I had made it a point to shake hands with the new Governor SS Sidhu on
his inauguration day at Raj Bhavan in the presence of the current CM (Digu
Bab) when I had told him(the new Governor), that Goa may seem green , lush
and pretty. But underneath there was a lot of stink which needs to be
cleaned.
Perhaps, SS Sidhu has forgotten what the white bearded fellow had told him
in a very audacious manner on this very auspicious day.
It is but right that things catch up with you when your back is turned.
