You are right ... Goa has become very expensive.

There was a time when I thought, I could retire in Goa and live like a king 
solely on my monthly social security benefits in the US. That is not likely to 
work out with this "margai" ... unless I go back to Goa with a big "potli" of 
uncle Ben's green pictures.

Considering oil is at a "mere" $92/barrel, I strongly believe the "margai" has 
just begun. One can imagine what would happen when that barrel costs $150 or 
more.

The last time when oil hit that mark (see the charts at CNBC.com under 
commodities), the jolly good days in the US came to a screeching halt. Folks 
whose budgets were over stretched to purchase a roof over their heads at top 
dollar, suddenly had no money to drive their car to work!

Expect another global recession when oil breaches $150/barrel.
