Dear All,

Here are some golden words from Soter in Goa!

Quote Pinheiro rightly points out the double standards of Goans. We have said it before that Goa's case is one where Goans want to eat the cake as well as preserve it at the same time. Goans curse the migrants but do not have a bit of remorse when patronising a migrant trader rather than a goan. There is no noise made by our politician proponents of 'special status' on the status of goans in markets and tourism industry. We are asking special status to protect the land when the economy of Goa is controlled by U.P Bhaiyyas and Gujaratis. Even the taxi drivers are migrants now. Our politicians are not interested in building political and social leadership but are only feathering their nests by raising emotive issues like 'Special Status' and the rest. No sooner elections are over they take 3 years rest and then for the next 2 years create unrest to build vote banks for the next elections. Are Gaons really convinced of what they speak?

Time to be serious!
