Gallery Gitanjali presents "Goan Kaleidoscope 2011" - A Group Show of 35
Contemporary Goan Artists.
The vibrant Goan art scene has produced many artists of repute over the
years.“Goan Kaleidoscope 2011”, a unique show organized by Gallery
Gitanjali brings together thirty six creative minds (35 artists plus one
Sculptor) under one roof in an eclectic mix of established & promising
Goan artists breaking all notions of hierarchy.
With varied themes & concepts each artist puts forward a unique
perspective with the intention of driving across a strong message; be it
socio-political, environmental, theological or philosophical .
Isms, as the viewer will discern, haven’t been followed to make a point
but to transcend the same & create a new, more powerful idiom.
Opening February 19, 2011 at 6:30pm
Works will remain on display from February 20 - March 5,2011 9am-9pm
