Prof. Edward's (Eddie) last name was Mendonca. BTW, he drank at the aunty's joint above Snowflake. The aunty is no more. Whatever one may say about him and his drinking, he was a kind-hearted man. His wife's name is Prof. Betty Mendonca. They have two daughters, Shanti and Vatsala. Vatsala was probably named after the poet Nascimento Mendonca's great poem Vatsala. Shanti is a doctor. They lived in Colaba.
