Goans need a strong leadership. In us we lack a sincere and a patriotic leadership. We believe mostly in a ferocious voice who shows his will to fight the injustice and for causes most dear to Goans. One for example, Churchill Alemao was called a man of masses and he proved one when Konkani movement was going on, he was accepted as a very strong needed Patriot fighter for Goa and Goans. But as the time went by and as he entered in politics we saw in him that he was not the leader we were dreaming for the Goan Causes. He fooled Goans very wisely when he took the causes for Dabolim airport forever and No to Mopa and a fight for Aquem Baixo people against the Government who was planing to grab more land form the poor agriculturists after grabbing thousands of acres of cultivable field land for Konkan Railway from Aquem Baixo. this time the land was to offer (free) to replace the illegal kiosks in order to widen the Road at Rawonfond. Remember these ghaddas were all illegal but they made a very big number of Vote Bank to Digambar and since Churchill was out of ministry that time, he made a strong support to Aquem Baixo land owners. However after Digambar saw a threat to his Govt from Churchill Group, the CM offered PWD to Churchill and killed not just two birds but several one of which is CM saved his Govt and the next is he diluted the opposition for Mopa and land grab at Aquem Baixo as Churchill was totally rewarded and purchased by Digambar. Like this the people of Goa lost a very dear leader to them who at times helped save Goa for Goans. But now we realized that all this tamasha was only to gain his selfish motives or is it possible the jealousy of his ever getting rich friends and Kumpar made him loose his once upon love for Goa and go for rich booty no matter he trample Goa or the thrust bestowed in him by Goans.
However, because of this should Goans not thrust or invent in another leadership? we may fail or the leaders themselves may fail us but we must keep on trying even at the cost of loosing again as some day we may strike some good luck and find some good Goa loving and honest leaders. It is worth trying and trying as otherwise we are loosing in anyway but in our trials we may someday catch a good catch who loves Goa and want to clean Goa from the dirt that is being dipped in now a days. It is better keep trying again and again than doing nothing as in any way we are getting lost again and again. We should not give up exploring for more Honest Leaders for saving Goa. Nevertheless, criticism makes the choice strong and bold too. I believe in keep trying even if we fail often, but till we get honest leadership that will Clean and Save Goa for Posterity.
