Statement 1 is acceptable as a scientific fact. Statement 2 is acceptable as a 
well-supported testable scientific hypothesis.

Statements 3 and 4 are philosophical speculations. They are neither acceptable 
as scientific facts nor as testable scientific hypotheses. To become the 
latter, they would have to generate testable predictions. To become the former, 
their predictions have to be repeatedly confirmed by experiment and/or 
objective observation.
