Dears,
This link tells us that the Goa Legislative Assembly passed an UNANIMOUS
RESOLUTION to the tabled motions by Mapusa MLA Francis D'Souza (BJP) and
Curtorim MLA Reginald Lourenco (SGF) sometime in 2008 that Goa should get
SPECIAL STATUS. Apparently, this resolution was expected to find its way to
the Center.

where, in 2010, the Union Minister for Planning etc says that Goa
Legislative Assembly has not made any demand towards such Special Status
thro' a resolution.
Therefore, why should Goans not consider our Goa Legislators as a pack of
JOKERS??

PS: Incidentally, this pack of 'Jokers' have thrown out the LOKAYUKTA BILL
which it was considering for quite some time, out of the window and into the
garbage bin the very next day that such a thunderous demand was made at the
Azad Maidan on 15 March 2011 by Goemchea Rakhondarancho Awaz, to signal
that 'they' pee on such demands by the people of GOA. A fitting response
will follow after today's GRA meet at MARGAO.
