Dear Dear Wilson,

I am with you all the way on this project.
BUT pray tell me and the rest of Overseas Goans as to how, on what SYSTEM, you are going to Sheppard the 10 new candidates @ 50 lacs a piece.

There is no dearth of finding 10 excellent, good, clean, dependent, committed candidates @ 50 lacs a piece. In fact there will be a stampede that we hv never seen before. But what is the surety that those 10 clean, dependable candidates will remain with Goa and Goans ONCE ELECTED?

Therefore, I do not believe in good people as such. Good people are required. It makes it easy. BUT YOU MUST FIELD THEM UNDER THE BANNER OF A GOOD CLEAN SYSTEM OF GOVERNANCE with strict compliance to the rule book.

Have you such a SYSTEM or the RULE BOOK in place? The do's and don'ts?? If so, do you mind tell the rest of us??

If you do have one, then even a bad person will do. Because once s/he is onboard, s/he will not be able to manipulate the SYSTEM. S/he either changes her/his ways or gets out. The chances are that s/he will never venture in, in the first place, if s/he feels that the SYSTEM is strict and not bendable. That gives you all the good people in the world to patronize your project.

However, how many will come forward to embrace such a SYSTEM is a million dollar question. At Goa Su-Raj, we have such a strict and clean SYSTEM in place for some more than 10 years. But we have to use a torch to find one clean person or a bad person coming forward. Maybe because we do not have 50 lacs a piece to spend on them?.
:-))

Cheers

Subject: [Goanet] Food for Thought -Final Outcome

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Mogall Mhojya Goykar Bhoinnino ani Bhavano,

This is your Goykar Brother Wilmix Wilson Mazarello , once again on the
same subject : “Food for Thought” (Overseas Goans can help save Goa).
On hearing from me after such a long silence, many will start thinking “
What now ?”
You are right in thinking “What now ?”. Nothing new, but I do owe all of
you an “update” on the present or rather final position .
So here it is .

This was the “Call” I gave to all Overseas Goans on the 10th January
2011 , with all hopes of a positive response: -
Overseas Goans can help save Goa
(Food for Thought) : WILMIX WILSON MAZARELLO
There is no doubt, that the Overseas Goan community is the most
concerned, about the future of Goa.
It is not that Goans in Goa are not concerned. There are many in Goa
too, who are genuinely concerned , but the Overseas Goans show it
openly through their continuous writings in the local dailies and much
more on the Internet.
But my dear Overseas Goan Brothers and Sisters , showing concern and
doing something about it , are 2 different things.
We Goans in Goa , are very well known to talk , but when it comes to
doing something about it , we are the first to run away from the
situation.
