Congratulations to the Goan Diaspora in the UK for being afforded an
opportunity to become a recognized component of the recent history of the
country.

I do not know Clifford Pereira, but in Eddie Fernandes and Selma Carvalho, the
study project lies in capable hands, minds and hearts.

For both Selma and Eddie it has been a journey of love for why else would these
two people sacrifice of their own time and money for the cause? Certainly not
recognition. It has been long in coming and when it comes, it will be enveloped
in criticism. Such are the ways of Goans when in groups. Behavior that belies
their individual goodness.

For the time being, all that is forgotten. Power to you Selma, Eddie and
Clifford. I look forward to your presentations in person here in Toronto. Who
doesn't love a good tale? Especially when it is about ourselves.

Roland
Toronto.
