"... aware of any storm waring?" a friend asked via chat. As usual, there didn't seem to have been any. But there was quite a bit of heavy winds and rain lashing parts of Goa this afternoon, around lunch-time. The Met Office is quite slow in doing its job here.
As the wind howled outdoors, Goanetter and friend Lui Godinho of Majorda was on the phone, making a call during a short visit to Goa for his dad-in-law's 90th birthday. Lui, as I know him, was one of the best (if not *the* best) news photographer Goa has known for much of the 1970s and 1980s, till he migrated to the UK. Hoping he can put together a book of some of his work dating back to those times!
