Children’s Kantaram Competition
Kala Mogi Candolim in collaboration with Tiatr Academy of Goa and Dalgado Konknni Akademi is organizing a ‘Children’s Kantaram Competition’ on Saturday, 23rd July 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Church Hall, Calangute, Bardez Goa. The event is supported by Parish Youth of Calangute.
Children singers from the villages of Candolim and Calangute will participate in the competition which will be held in two categories:- (1) Children upto the age of 12 years and (2) Children of the age between 13 to 19 years.
In all 27 children singers are participating in the competition. The music is arranged by Agnelo Dias. The organization of Children’s Kantaram Competition is co-ordinated by Mathias Mascarenhas. Rev Fr. Cipriano D’Silva, Parish Priest of Calangute will be the Chief Guest while Shri. Tomazinho Cardozo, President of TAG will preside over the function.
Besides singing songs by children for the competition, lighter moments will be provided by comedians of the tiatr stage Mathew and Leslie. Attractive prizes with certificates will be presented to the winners and to all the participants of the competition. The competition is open to public.
