Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) cadres on Friday ransacked a 
missionary school at Dumka, demanding that it be shut to show solidarity with 
Anna Hazare's fast,
 while their counterparts in Ranchi observed a day-long educational 
strike, taking out bike rallies and asking students to join them.

Around 12 ABVP workers barged inside St Joseph's School around 10am 
and entered into a heated argument with school Principal Piyush Marandi,
 ordering him to shut the institute. When the principal refused, ABVP 
cadres broke chairs and tables in his office.
