The Pentateuch
As part of the "Deepen Your Faith" programme, the Pedro Arrupe Institute,
Raia will be organizing an introductory seminar on the first five
books of the Bible,
the "Pentateuch" from Saturday, 5th November to Monday 7th November at
our Institute in
Raia. This course will be conducted by the Jesuit Fathers of Raia.The
last day to register for the course is the 3rd of November. The main
objective of the seminar is to enable the participant to read and
rediscover the meaning of the first five books of the Bible,
commonly called the Pentateuch, and to understand its relevance for today.
Participants are free to stay at our institute or to commute up and
down. The charges for the course are Rs 400/- for non-residential
members, while it is Rs. 600/- for those who wish to stay at our
institute and share a room. Rs. 800/- will be charged for those who
would like a single individual room. On Saturday (5th of Nov) and
Sunday (6th of Nov) evening, the sessions will end at 8 pm, and will
resume the next morning at 9 am.
