Selma, I have no problem in acknowledging your specialisation in
Burtonology. However, I see a problem in trying to understand
contemporary Goa by way of what Burton did or did not do. Or what he
did or did not choose to learn. FN
PS: And I'm not saying that breathless journalism (which we guys
usually indulge in) is a good tool to understand today's Goa either!
