The oHERALDo report on page 4 today 11 December, 2011, headlined "Civil
Groups seek support on RP, MoI; Ramdev reciprocates" states thus:
"Civil Groups like like the Village Groups of Goa, Pilerne Citizens
Forum(PCF), Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch (BBSM), India Against Corruption
(IAC) along with RTI activist like Kashinath Shetye and Sudip Tamankar held
a meeting with Baba [Ramdev] placing across several issues haunting the
state."
"PCF president Prakash Bandodkar told Herald that Ramdev has extended his
full support in their fight against RP 21. He said almost 30 civil group
members today met the Baba, wherein he was made aware of several facts on
RP."
COMMENTS
Our earlier assessment that the PCF is being fed to the RSS-BJP wolves has
proved to be right in view of the above report of oHERALDo. That Goans need
support from these Bharat Swabiman-BJP-RSS-doctrine fed 'chamchas' is a
saddest thing yet for Goa and Goans. If what this saffron clad fakir says is
to be believed, he wouldn't have donned a lady's salwar khamiz to camouflage
himself, jump off the 4 meter high stage at Ramlila, New Delhi, and run away
like a common criminal. If he is what he is preaching to be, he would have
honourably courted arrest and commanded the police not to touch any of his
followers. We have read history where the 'leader' has even made his
follower re-attach the cut-off ear of a soldier and healed it and then given
himself up to be cruelly tortured and mercilessly executed, to be the
greatest MAN on earth for the past score centuries and for hundred of scores
of centuries to come. This saffron clad fakir should dabble in things that
he knows about.
