MOHAN BORKAR APPOINTED ON RAILWAY COMMITTEE
SHRI Mohan Vinayak Borkar , Social worker of curchorem Goa has been
nominated by the General Manager South Western Railway, Hubli to
represent the Divisional Railway users’ Consultative Committee, Hubli.
This appointment has been made as per the recommendation sent by Shri
Shantaram Naik MP (Rajya Sabha), to the railway ministry. Mr Borkar will
act as member of the committee for the period from 01.010.2011 to
30.09.2013.
Mr. Borkar is presently Vice-President of Sanvordem-Curchorem Rail
Consumers Association, which is a registered body under Societies
Registration Act 1860.
Mr. Borkar has, in the last ten years, taken up several issues related
to railway service in Goa.
