of Kony2012 and its depiction of issues? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- FN, I first viewed parts of this documentary in Cuba. The tourists there wanted to know how Kony could operate in the bush without any fear. I had to point out that it was the other way round. Kony could operate because everyone fears him. He has the ability to turn himself into a python on some nights, the holy spirit on other nights and return to human form when necessary for his people. The maker of this documentary minimized the religious and cultural aspects of this war. They are the main factors why Kony got popular in the first place. 25 years of kidnapping and mutilating children! And even now that the movie is getting young people into action, I still read suggestions in the media that the documentary maker is doing this for his own ulterior motives.
