Thank you Joe.

That was very thoughtful and considerate of you, to have thought of us NRI's, NRO's - oops sorry that's a kind of a/c with the bank, Indian citizens holding PIO or OCI or any other forms of attachments to our dear homeland - we certainly do miss, not just our Xheet kodi and kop, but also other such authentic goodies like goan sausages, or goan vinegar or meet mirsao masala - among just a few things, and nobody takes either the time or the thought process to think of us Indians outside India. Its like some weird sense of punishment for having left India and settled abroad! Everyone gives you penance!

True we do get goan sausages and other such "delicacies" here in Toronto too. And yes, everyone re-assures you with such conviction and finality that they do indeed use authentic goan vinegar from Goa itself to process all those delicacies. But you better keep your 81mg baby Aspirin handy when they tell you their prices! Your heart goes boom-beetee-boom-beetee-boom! And when you actually taste them? Your hair grows, yes. Most especially the "sheyndee"!

So yes Joe, thank you once again for having included the email ID of Jerome, I certainly will contact him. Now your next project should be to help us non resident fellow goans and mangloreans to solicit delicacies from our childhood days from your sources, thank you.

Cheers
